SCL Capital (“SCL”) is a private mortgage investment company specializing in acquiring, managing and liquidating undervalued residential mortgages nationwide. SCL buys senior non-performing loans for approximately 10-30% of value.
SCL works with the homeowner using proven workout methodologies to develop a strategy that enables them to keep their home, thus, creating value and cash flow for SCL fund investors. SCL also helps local real estate investors who want to “flip” the property by financing the sale of our loans to local real estate investors while they fix the property. In this manner, we create a financially competitive alternative for the homeowner, our lender/partners, investors and SCL.
Performing loans are held for cash flow while working out the non-performing loans. We then liquidate these re-performing loans for approximately 40-90% of value. SCL’s investment is secured by a real estate mortgage. The company has a high degree of confidence it will be repaid through one of numerous exit strategies.
